Total Branding Solution – Logo design, Business Cards, Menu and Bar Flyers, Product Photography and Social media management

When Le Petit Poisson’s Lorna and Paul Whellam told us about their new project, we were very excited, listening to how they were having a vintage Citroen HY Van restored to use as a mobile fish and chip van in France.  We imagined this awesome piece of historic France parked in front of a beautiful chateau and at that point, we were thrilled to be part of their journey and Renees.

Logo Design

We began with the colour of the van, which was to be a lovely claret red with cream. Lorna told me that she wanted these colours used across the branding of Le Petit Poisson. She also wanted a classy, French inspired vintage feel to the logo design.  We worked together on some ideas and Lorna liked the mini HY van. We placed the van image onto  the swirls and experimented with the typography until it looked just right.  The van actually looks like it is coming down the road. Lorna loved so the logo was born.

Business Cards

The business card had to be portrait to enable the logo to be visible and to show the ‘Fish and Chips’ text.  Placing a double, fancy border to frame the main details continued the vintage feel. The card also shows the main contact information needed and Siret number. It is a legal requirement in France to display your French company registration number.

Menu Flyers

Digital and printed menus were then designed following the branding in both French and English.  This presented a little challenge, to incorporate a lot of information without overcrowding the flyer.

Venue Flyers

A general location flyer was designed along with each bar that was hosting a fish and chip night.

So here she is… the lovely Renee. You can read all about Renee’s story and see images of her being renovated.

Social Media

I  helped set up a Facebook Page and designed a social media banner which took a while as I had to cut out Renee from the background.  You can see from the images below the original image.

We will be continuing to offer social media consultancy to help promote Le Petit Poisson venues and event hire.

The website used a template which was challenging as a lot of work was needed to customise the pre-built template.  The colours needed changing to match Renee’s and different functionality was needed. However, the work was worth it as it suits Le Petite Poisson and Renee perfectly.
